ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


Dear Esteemed Members of ISG,

We are glad to announce the CALL FOR ABSTRACTS for the 62nd Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, ISGCON 2021 to be held from February 10th – 13th, 2022 in Pune, Maharashtra at the JW Mariott & International Convention Centre, Pune.

The abstracts papers are to be submitted under the following categories -

  • Esophagus
  • Stomach
  • Small intestine
  • Large intestine
  • Liver
  • Biliary tract
  • Pancreas
  • Endoscopy
  • Motility disorders
  • Pediatric gastroenterology
  • Surgical gastroenterology
  • Nutrition
  • Miscellaneous

Following are the session-wise requirements for the consideration of your paper –

Please note the following important dates -

Opening of submission of abstractsAugust 1st, 2021

Closing date for submission of full papers for consideration of presentation in Plenary session and Young Investigator Award sessionOctober 31th, 2021

Guidelines

Authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines while preparing their abstracts. This will greatly facilitate the review process.

  • Abstracts submitted will be published in the supplement issue of Indian Journal of Gastroenterology.
  • Abstracts must be original and must not have been published earlier or accepted for the publication. If presented earlier in any other conference, please make a mention.
  • All abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Full title of abstract should be filled up in running letters.
  • Please provide the complete details of the presenting and corresponding author while submitting the abstract.
  • Please put all the authors name and institution name respectively in the sequence you would like to be presented in the abstract book.
  • The length of the abstract body should not exceed 300 words. The online submission module will not accept abstracts that exceed this word limit.
  • Please upload the complete abstract file in .doc file (including Title*, Authors*, Institution* and Abstract*). No other format will be accepted during submission.
  • Please mention 3-4 key words per abstract.
  • You can revise the submitted abstract online till 7th November, 2021.
  • After closure of abstract submission date, the editing option will not be available.

Acceptance of abstracts by the Scientific Committee does not imply permission to present the work at the congress. Presenting authors must register for the congress and pay the registration fees to attend the congress and make their presentations.
